The Pedal Queens are a non-profit women's cycling club based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Our mission is to encourage women to get out there on their bikes. Road or mountain. Racer or first time cyclist. We want to inspire women to improve their skill, health and confidence by riding bikes. And we want to have a great time while we do it!

Wear Your Pink Labor Day Mountain Bike Ride and Tailgate Party!!!
Monday Sept. 6th 4pm-6pm at La Tierra Trails.
Meet at the mailbox dirt parking area on Cam. La Tierra

Beginner Mtn Bikers will have Queen Elizabeth as a ride leader. More
experienced mtn bikers can group up and choose whatever route they want to ride.
Tailgate Party at 6pm. Antipasto foods and drinks will be provided. Please

Tuesday Night Intermediate Mountain Bike Rides NEW LOCATION!!!

Meet at the Unity Church Parking Lot, La Tierra Trails
This is an intermediate, single track ride with a some technical sections, some switchbacks and some hills. The ride will be 1.5 to 2 hours, at this point determined by how much sunlight we have. Come join us!

Sunday Morning Road Rides! NEW!!!
Meet in front of REI (Santa Fe) at 7:45 am, ride will begin promptly at 8
am Pace will be about an avg 15 mph. Can accommodate a slower pace but
need to be back in Santa Fe by 11 am. For the first two rides, routes are as follows:

Sunday, September 5
Meet in front of REI at 7:45am. Ride begins at 8am and will go to the
village of Rio en Medio. Route will cover Old Taos Hwy, Cam. Encantado,
Bishops Lodge Road, Tesuque Village Rd, Hwy 592. Return route will be Hwy
592, Tesuque Village Rd, Frontage Road along Hwy 285, Old Taos Hwy. This
route has moderate to steep hills with a majority of it having no
shoulder. At least the views are beautiful while you are spinning up the
hill(s). Traffic should be low. Roundtrip distance is approx. 25-30 miles.

Road to Ruins Tour – Mountainair, NM
Sat. Sept. 25-Sun. 26, 2010
Pedal Queen Julie Jacobs will lead a 2 day overnight tour based in
Mountainair, New Mexico September, 25, 26, 2010. The tour will be based
out of Turner Inn & RV Park in Mountainair

Saturday…Visit the Salinas Pueblo Missions Visitor Center, 9:00 AM Rancho
Bonito in town
Ride 25 miles one way to Gran Quivira Ruins. They have water and toilets.
No services available on the way down. Return 25 miles back to
Mountainair. 50 miles total riding
Bring your own lunch and walking shoes
Dinner at the Shaffer Restaurant
Overnight in Mountainair

Sunday… Visit Abo and Quari Ruins. Both ruins have water and toilets 9:00
AM at the Visitor Center
Ride 35 miles round trip. Bring walking shoes

Rides are out and back so turning around at anytime is an option.
All rides and activities are subject to change based on weather, rider
preferences, etc.

RSVP to Julie (505) 983-6007. No Group reservations, make your own.
Suggestions include Turner Inn and RV Park, the Rock Motel, the Shaffer
Hotel. No fees for Pedal Queens members to attend this tour.

Saturday, September 25th • Santa Fe Slow Ride!
9am Rail Yard Plaza
Join us for the "Santa Fe Slow Ride". No lycra needed! A Santa Fe Slow Ride is:
A summer time casual ride
* A ride under 8 mph
* A ride under 10 miles
* A cruise through town on the scenic streets of Santa Fe
* A get together ride with friends
All you need is a bike you like to ride to enjoy the sights and sounds of Santa Fe. Santa Fe Slow Rides will be happening every 4th Saturday of the month through the summer.
