The Pedal Queens are a non-profit women's cycling club based in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Our mission is to encourage women to get out there on their bikes. Road or mountain. Racer or first time cyclist. We want to inspire women to improve their skill, health and confidence by riding bikes. And we want to have a great time while we do it!

We need volunteers for the Bonanza Creek Classic! Come help the PQ's put on the best race in the state (well according to us)! You can sign up here. Simply type in your name and check the box or boxes of any position you can help out with. Then hit "save". Remember, you can sign up for more than 1 job (just look at the time slots for each one), and you can also help with some jobs and still race the race. You do not have to be a Pedal Queen to volunteer. If you have a friend that wants to help, by all means sign them up! Please contact our hard-working race director, Queen Mickey

Check out our training group on google groups, for tips, upcoming training rides, etc contact Queen Mickey to get on the list and see what's coming up.

Saturday, Road Rides • Queen Pamela's Ride for Fun, Fitness and Learning to Ride Nicely with Others @ 7:45am (no ride June 27th!)
Meet at 4751 Agua Fria St., Santa Fe (County) - where Agua Fria almost curves into Airport Rd, 2 miles past Plants of the Southwest if you're coming from Downtown. We'll do a loop through the La Cienega area - about 20-25 miles. The focus would be a slow and steady increase in basic fitness and skills. First, Pamela will do a quick 10 minute clinic on various riding skills. Then, on the ride she'll teach about cornering, climbing, riding through sand/gravel, pacelining, riding next to someone, etc. It will be very fluid and based on what people are interested in learning and what she notices on the ride. We ride in the rain. For questions or to RSVP email Queen Pamela.

Tuesday, June 16th (23rd & 30th)• Tuesday Night Mountain Rides @5:30

Meet at St Johns off of Camino de Cruz Blanca. Once you turn to enter the college, make a left turn into the Atalaya Trailhead parking lot. Park at the rear of the lot. The ride will be mostly single track with some climbs and descents but all at a non-threatening pace. We'll meet at 5:30 PM as usual. The rides will continue to be fun & social, so come join us! Email Queen Jennifer to RSVP or to ask questions.

Wednesday Night Road Rides @ 5:45 @ Ft. Marcy
